Apply for a CLG Grant
Michigan communities that have entered into the Certified Local Government (CLG) program by February 1, 2023 are eligible to apply for fiscal year (FY) 2023 grant funding from SHPO. Non-profits and public entities within a CLG community can also access the funding through the CLG. Funding is available in two categories: (1) rehabilitation planning and rehabilitation projects and (2) planning, documentation, and education projects.

Note: There are two separate manuals and applications. One set is for rehabilitation planning and rehabilitation projects (i.e., physical work on specific properties), while the other set should be used for all other projects.
