Finding Professional Preservation Consultants

SHPO does not permit, license, or endorse consultants. SHPO does, however, maintain lists of individuals that have provided documentation to SHPO demonstrating that they meet minimum professional qualifications for Archaeologist, Architectural Historian, Historian, or Historic Architect. Inclusion in this lists does not constitute endorsement by SHPO, Michigan Economic Development Corporation or the Michigan Strategic Fund, nor does it guarantee that any work product carried out by persons on the list will necessarily meet federal and state requirements.
