Jackson

Located 40 miles east of Ann Arbor and 35 miles south of Lansing, Jackson is the heart of southern Michigan. The city and its 33,534 residents are part of the larger Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area—which has a population of 160,248. The city features excellent regional transportation as it is served by Interstate-94 and US-127; it has passenger rail service to both Chicago and Detroit; and is served by the Jackson County Airport. Jackson’s economy is supported in part by three major corporations: Allegiance Health, the Eaton Corporation and the world headquarters of CME (Consumers) Energy. Downtown Jackson features numerous high-rise buildings, historic landmarks and abundant cultural attractions. Development opportunities abound in Jackson! See for yourself!
