Grand Rapids

The City of Grand Rapids is the second largest city in the state of Michigan with over 190,000 residents. It encompasses an area of approximately 45 square miles. Grand Rapids is located in west central Michigan, roughly 30 miles east of Lake Michigan. Only 25 miles east of the lakeshore communities of Holland, Muskegon and Grand Haven. The Grand River, a major state waterway, runs through the city's center. Grand Rapids is home to 15 colleges and affiliate colleges, Beer City USA, a wealthy array of preforming arts, and home to the regionally known ArtPrize festival. Discover the art of dining, downtown markets, museums, local sports and travel internationally with the near-by airport.
