Redevelopment Ready Sites

Chinook Pier (Grand Haven, MI) RFQ

The City of Grand Haven, with community input, is pleased to present an exciting development opportunity situated on the waterfront responsible for attracting visitors near and far within the City of Grand Haven.

Chinook Pier RFQ

The site, located at 301 North Harbor Drive, includes 3.4 acres of the northern half of Chinook Pier and provides direct connections to the Grand River, waterfront trail, Bicentennial Park, trolley route, and Grand Haven’s walkable downtown. This opportunity area is located between the Train Park to the north and the Sailing Club to the south, and is entirely owned by the City of Grand Haven.

The City has undertaken an analysis of preferred uses for the site and surrounding areas, and has defined the preferred development scenario to include 10,900 square feet of mixed commercial/retail space and 10,130 square feet for a multi-use market.
