RRC Best Practices 4/5/6

WHO: Staff and officials from communities who are already engaged in RRC or communities who are interested in starting the RRC process. With a focus on building capacity in local governments, we encourage you to not only send staff, but invite elected and appointed officials, board and committee members, citizen advisory panels and other key local and regional partners engaged in your community

WHAT: Detailed information, examples and implementation steps for achieving a solid planning, zoning and development foundation.

WHY: Attending the RRC trainings signals that the community is taking proactive steps for development and investment. Completion of the training series is required for any community looking to formally participate in the RRC program. Participants who attend training sessions for all six Best Practices will receive a certificate of completion.

COST: Training are offered at no cost, however if you sign up and cannot make the training, please email the RRC team at RRC@michigan.org to avoid a $50 cancellation fee. A light breakfast and lunch will be included.

The Oakland County Executive Building is located at 2100 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford MI 48328. The training will take place in the conference center East room.
